16th March – Wedding Magician in Chester
I was invited to attend, and perform magic, at a “Sip and see” style event at the Mercure Hotel in Chester.
The aim was to create a new style of wedding fayre, where brides could come and sample a typical wedding day, and also grab some lovely afternoon tea in the restaurant afterwards. Rather than have a typical stand, I opted to walk round the venue and perform for couples. This is far more fun for me, as it means I’m not stuck behind a table all day long. It also gives the wedding couples as good indication of how my magic would work on THEIR wedding day.
As wedding fayres go, this was a most enjoyable one to work – allowing me the chance to interact and have a laugh with some couples. Hopefully, there will be more of these kind of events in the future, so, if you’re getting married, why not contact the Mercure to see if you can have a look round?
If you’ve never thought about using a magician to entertain your wedding guests, please take the time to have a look at my “Guide to hiring a wedding magician” page, or why not email me, so we can chat about YOUR special day?
