Chester Magician at Boughton Hall
Tonight was a first for me; I was asked to perform some close up magic for the residents of Boughton Hall in Chester – a retirement village that were hosting a number of special events over Christmas for the residents. They were having a singer and a formal meal, but wanted some entertainment at the start of the evening, just to kick things off.
I was asked to perform close up strolling magic for the guests as they arrived and they really enjoyed the magic and laughed along with it. It was a lot of fun for me too, as they weren’t shy about heckling or giving me an earful. I love these kinds of people; it really encompasses what magic is really about – interaction!
