4th May – Christening Magician in Liverpool at the Panoramic restaurant
Great to be back in Liverpool as a Merseyside magician, and it’s great to be back at the Panoramic restaurant – a gorgeous penthouse suite designed to have extravagant (and memorable parties). If you’ve not been to the great Liverpool party venue, then do yourself a favour and go – it’s awesome!
Last time I was here, I was sharing the bill with a Tom Jones impersonator (you’ve not lived until you’ve shared a dressing room with a man who has had to layer on fake tan and then attach a chest wig!), but today I’m on my own; just me and my bag of tricks to entertain a room full of party goers celebrating a Christening.
I don’t think many people would consider hiring a magician for a Christening, but it seems to be coming increasingly popular. That’s one of the best things about magic – it can work wherever there are adults standing about the need entertaining; it doesn’t matter what the event is!
I also got to meet, and perform for, Liverpool legend Phil Neal. In fact, he was easily the most fun person to perform for on the day. He loved the magic and was up for some back and forth banter and jokes. I do love spending time with people that can truly relax and enjoy comedy magic in the spirit it is intended. For me, that’s what it’s all about; a chance to create a unique moment of interaction and that only really happens when everyone is relaxed and enjoying themselves. They may not entirely know where the performance is going, but they are happy and confident in your ability as a driver!
