19th March – Staffordshire magician
As a parent, I’ve spent more than a fair share of hours watching CBeebies (mostly with my kids!). I know all of Mr Tumble’s relatives, the difference between Pontypine and a Wattinger and I began to unhealthily fixate upon fictional characters. Imagine how excited I was to be asked to perform at te grand opening of CBeebies land at Alton Towers?
It was a great night, and it was also a celebrity party too, which is always a weird one to work, especially with characters I’ve watched with my daughters! Magic can work really well in these situations, especially when you have lots of activities for the kids, but you’re wanting something different to keep the adult guests happy. I got to do my walkaround magic as adults sat at tables and chilled. It’s a lot more relaxed than situations I’m used to performing in as a corporate magician, where I have to rush to perform between courses! I got chance to sit down and have a laugh with people
It was a fantastic night though, with party music, disco, food, clowning and face painting to keep everybody happy. The kids (and the adults) had a fabulous time and, by all accounts, had a fabulous day, touring round CBeebies land, which is what it was all about!
If you’re having an open day, whether it be for a theme park or a showroom, why not have a magician walking round, entertaining your guests, giving them a happy and positive experience? Have a look at my main page to see some of my past clients and testimonials. or email me for more information. I’m happy to help.
