25th April – Wedding Magician at Willington Hall in Cheshire.
It’s always nice to be performing at an event that is local to you; you get to know suppliers and hotel owners (it also cuts down driving time!). Today is another one of those days where I can stay local and perform as a Cheshire Magician.
At the wedding today, I was asked to perform before the wedding breakfast for the guests and the happy couple as they arrived at Willington Hall – a lovely wedding venue in Cheshire.
I was walking round the lower floor and the garden area, performing for friends and family of the bride and groom; keeping them entertained with close up magic. There were also quite a few children too, so I got those involved too (even though I’m not a kids magician, most of my magic is able to be understood by children).
I was working alongside the excellent photographer Steve Hale, who actually works in the next village to me. He got some great shots on the day, including these below and has graciously allowed me to include them here:
I even got chance to entertain the bride and groom…
In fact, I managed to pull them to one side and perform a special trick, just for them (and the whole congregation that followed us into the room!)
Weddings are such good fun to perform at, they really are. Magic can be a great addition to any wedding (though I am a little bit biased). It can be performed virtually anywhere…to anyone. It can get people laughing and can get them gobsmacked with amazement. It really can entertain anybody. If you don’t believe me, why not email me to have a chat about YOUR special day?
